Olakunle Olusegun is a Nigerian professional football player who plays as a right-back for Russian side Pari Nizhny Novgorod FC on loan from Krasnodar, He also plays for the senior national team of Nigeria.
Club Career (Olakunle Olusegun games)
In August 2021, Olakunle Olusegun’s trade were purchased by Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv who immediately sent him out on loan to Krasnodar-2, a Russian side for the 2021/2022 season.
He made his debut in the Russian Football National League for Krasnodar-2 on 29th August 2021 in a game against Baltika Kaliningrad football club.
In April 2022, Olusegun was promoted to the main squad of Krasnodar and made his Russian Premier League debut on 3rd April 2022 for the match against Dynamo Moscow Football club.
On 14 June 2022, Olusegun joined FC Krasnodar on a permanent basis and signed a four-year contract with the club. On the 5th of March 2024, Olakunle Olusegun extended his contract with Krasnodar until June 30, 2028.
On the 23rd of July, 2025, Olusegun was sent on loan to Pari Nizhny Novgorod.

Olakunle Olusegun represented the golden eaglets of Nigeria at the 2019 Africa U-17 Nations cup, where he was on the score sheet against Angola. Olakunle Olusegun also featured in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and he scored in their knockout match where they were defeated 3:1 by the Netherlands.
