Emmanuel Michael was born in Nigeria, he started his youth career at Simoiben football academy in kaduna and has since been a talented sensation.
Emmanuel Michael was scouted by the Simoiben Football Academy when he was playing street football in Kaduna state, Nigeria. After an impressive spell with the academy and the Nigeria under-17 side, Emmanuel Michael was scouted by Danish and Spanish sides Midtjylland and Huesca, respectively.
He also had interest from Dutch and French sides Ajax and AS Monaco respectively, with the French side reportedly making a bid to sign him before he turned 18 years old.
Despite this set of interests, Emmanuel Michael proceeded to join Nigeria Premier Football League side, Gombe United on a season-long loan deal in October 2023. In the same month, he was named by The Guardian (an English Newspaper) as one of the global best players born in 2006.
In August 2024, Emmanuel Michael joined Austrian Bundesliga side LASK, but was assigned to the club’s reserve team known as Juniors OÖ.

Emmanuel Michael Super Eagles (International Career)
Emmanuel Michael got called up to the Nigerian under-17 team for the 2023 U-17 African Cup of Nations qualifications (known as the 2022 WAFU-B U17 championship), Emmanuel Michael scored in the opening match which was a 4:2 win against the Ghanaian side.
He built on this by scoring a brace in the 3:1 win against the Ivory Coast in the same tournament, receiving three consecutive Man of the Match awards in the tournament.
After helping his side to win the 2022 WAFU-B U17 tournament, Emmanuel Michael was honoured by his teammates at the Simoiben Football Academy on his return to Nigeria.
It was later understood that Emmanuel Michael almost missed the competition; having arrived late to a training camp, the team’s coaches initially wanted him excluded from the team, but after a meeting between president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, and the owner of Simoiben Football Academy, Moses Simon who is a Nigerian international, Emmanuel Michael was reinstated.
